- Bering Glacier, Alaska -
ASTER VNIR Level 1B

Bering Glacier is located on the Chugach Range in southern Alaska in North America. It is the largest glacier in North America extending over 190 km southeastward from the Bagley Ice Field.

The end of the glacier is leading into the Malaspina Glacier, which is famous for its beautiful fold patterns made up of ice and rock debris. In the lowest reaches of the Bering Glacier, the glacier flows over the backward slope bedrock and flows into the ocean.

On the glacier's surface, marginal moraines flow in from branch valleys to form many layers of the medial moraine, which is a superb view.
