Marabi volcano
ASTER observed Marabi
volcano in Java, which showed signs of volcanic activity in April 2006.
The images on the right are chronologically ordered nighttime observation data by SWIR and TIR.
The SWIR images are pseudo color image using Band 8, while the TIR are pseudo color image using Band 10.
High temperature area around the crater is indicated as color of red to yellow.
